Jay Shah says that BCCI has not approached anyone for Team India head coach job

Over the last few days, there has been various reports that suggest Justin Langer and Ricky Ponting have been approached by the Board Of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) for the role of the Team India’s head coach. The BCCI secretary Jay Shah has denied such reports of approaching the dormer Australian players.

Jay Shah in statement on Friday said, “Neither I nor BCCI have approached any former Australian cricketer with a coaching offer. The reports circulating in certain media sections are completely incorrect. Finding right coach for our national team is a meticulous and thorough process.”
