TATA IPL 2024  (KKR vs RR)

Rajasthan Royals have continued their remarkable Indian Premier League (IPL) season after they beat Kolkata Knight Riders in a record-breaking chase at the Eden Gardens on Tuesday (April 16)

A night highlighted by two tons, first from Sunil Narine and then from Jos Buttler had the crowd on the edge of their seats before the latter won the game for RR on the final ball of the match. In doing so, Buttler scored the eighth hundred of his T20 career. He now has seven centuries in IPL with Virat Kohli topping the table with eight IPL hundreds. The hundred and the win also saw him keep a special streak intact as RR now sit pretty at the top of the IPL standings.

Playing as an impact sub against KKR, Buttler scored his seventh hundred for RR in IPL history, walking into record books with a stellar record to his name, that of his side remaining unbeaten every time he has scored a ton. On the seven previous occasions with the 2008 champions, Buttler has always ended up on the winning side. This also includes a win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) earlier in the month where Virat Kohli scored a hundred at Jaipur's Sawai Mansingh Stadium.
