IND vs Ban, 2nd T20I Peak athleticism! Hardik Pandya pulls off a STUNNER to dismiss Rishad Hossain

India continued their absolute dominance over hapless Bangladesh in the second and penultimate T20I at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi on Wednesday (Oct 9).

After a 1-0 lead, Suryakumar Yadav-led hosts were asked to bat first and rode on newcomer Nitish Reddy's 34-ball 74 and Rinku Singh's 29-ball 54 to post a massive 221/9 and restricted the Bangla Tigers for 135/9 to win by 86 runs.

The home side put on a clinical show by ticking all three departments.

Hardik Pandya, who scored a vital 19-ball 32, also stood out with a blinder at the deep to dismiss Rishad Hossain.

In the 14th over, with the match pretty much out of Bangladesh's hand, Rishad Hossain attempted a big shot off Varun Chakravarthy.

It was heaved towards wide long-on as Hardik sprinted towards his left from deep mid-wicket and plucked a stunner in front of the boundary.

All the seven Indian bowlers chipped in with a wicket each with Varun and Reddy taking two-fers each.

Earlier in the contest, the Men in Blue were reduced to 41-3 but continued their run-scoring ways courtesy of an impressive 108-run fourth-wicket stand between half-centurions Rinku and Reddy.

While the latter fell for 74, laced with 4 fours and 7 sixes at a strike-rate of 217.65, Rinku departed for 53, striking at 182.76.

Hardik and Riyan Parag (6-ball 15) added more to the Indian scoreboard as hosts posted 221/9 and, later, defended it in style.

India won the series opener by seven wickets in Gwalior and will now aim for a clean sweep with the series finale on Saturday (Oct 12) in Hyderabad.
